Where it all began
Zikedish evolved from a small video production house called “Great White Creations,” founded by Dawie le Hanie. Dawie re-envisioned the business in 2014 to cater to the needs of a wider variety of clientele and the development of its brands. Zikedish was born.

Dawie le Hanie
Founder, Filmmaker & Multimedia Expert
Dawie brings extensive experience in video production and production house management, spanning multiple facets of the industry. Hailing from Springs, near Johannesburg, Dawie was raised in an artistic family. He excelled in various fields during his time at Springs Technical High School and went on to earn a Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) degree from the University of Pretoria. Additionally, he holds a diploma in Business Administration and Management (with distinction) and has completed numerous certificate courses in writing, acting, music and video production. Dawie’s passions include his family, history, art, nature conservation, and music.
Our social responsibility
At Zikedish we place a premium on ethical and socially responsible business practices. We live by these standards and endeavour to make the world a better place. We feel that our products are for the betterment of society and where we can we give back. As part of our social responsibility, we support charities and environmental protection organisations that we feel align with our beliefs.
What’s in a name
“Zikedish” is a fun original word created by Linda le Hanie, in 2001. It is synonymous with zealousness – being passionate, devoted, enthusiastic, and energetic. Our slogan and vision can be summarized in these four words: “Be zealous, be Zikedish.” The sound clip below is how we pronounce it.
